Welcome to Colorado
Category : Uncategorized
I’m starting this journey the hope that it will never end, that maybe I’ll find a way to extend my traveling and climbing sabbatical indefinitely.
The first leg of this trip will be with my friend, Paul. We will be driving to Joshua Tree over the next week or so and hitting various climbing areas along the way:
Yesterday we arrived in Denver, Colorado. Surprisingly we struggled to find camping for under $25. Driving through the surrounding cities, it makes sense however. The Denver metro area is very developed, it’s population is around 2.7 million. Any undeveloped land is way to expensive to purchase to turn into a cheap campground. Lydia was kind enough to let us stay with her for the first night 🙂
Today we are going to climb the east face of the third flatiron.
It’s an 800 foot 5.4 climb.
Just unburied my camera today. I’ll have pictures soon!
